Shannon Hobbs-Beckley is a distinguished educational consultant and leadership coach, experienced in the thorough diagnostic and strategic development of PreK-12 academic programs for schools. With 30 years of experience in diverse leadership roles, including Chief Learning Officer, school principal, Instructional Leadership and Professional Learning Coordinator, and curriculum specialist in international and U.S. public school settings, she possesses an invaluable system-level perspective on instructional excellence and curriculum coherence. While serving as Chief Learning Officer at Graded – American School of Sao Paulo, she successfully led an instructional initiative across all grades (PK-12) resulting in a consistent, comprehensive, and school-wide instructional framework—including a set of learning principles and practices, standards for professional learning, and a revised teacher evaluation system.  Furthermore, as a US public school principal, simultaneous work on assessment practices and school culture led to a decrease in achievement gaps for African-American students and statewide recognition. Her approach is highly collaborative, focusing on building ownership and sustainability of projects. As a certified Leadership and Performance Coach, she excels in organizational change and building instructional leadership capacity.
