What might we create together?
Behind our work is a sense of urgency that schools need to shift away from structures that block relevance, equity, agency, and critical + creative thinking. We have been so entrenched in these structures that without close listening, inclusive conversations, relevant research, and honest questions, how will we get to the root of the matter? To uncover truths, we start with fearless inquiry, not fearless answering.
Education faces an epic design challenge - to serve humanity and our planet, and not simply focus on individual gain or data collection. While the challenges seem monumental (and individuals are exhausted), we can guide you to construct a shared vision for moving forward, to center well-being and equity, and empower bold thinking to action for modern learning.
We follow a path of: Provocation + Capacity Building + Design + Implementation, and we have developed various guiding frameworks so that innovation, change, and learning are experienced naturally, collectively, and joyfully.

Board Development and Strategic Planning Support
We help Board members to build their lenses and leadership capacities for the modern school - from recognizing the central role of equity and belonging as a leadership responsibility to revisiting (or creating) strategic plans and guiding statements.
JEDI/B (Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging) Leadership and Support
We partner with the Oneness Lab and other JEDI thought leaders to build capacity in schools. This can take the form of staff and leadership training, equity audits, crafting commitments and long-term plans, and developing student voice and leadership.
BQI encourages diverse perspectives in the design of guiding statements like a definition of learning, an equity statement, and mission, vision, and values. BQI can advise on the launch of your guiding coalition and facilitate meaningful conversations among parents, students, board members, staff, and faculty to realize key goals and higher engagement.
All-Staff Professional Development for Faculty and Staff
We can engage staff around augmenting opportunities for student agency, sense-making, or exploring and auditing the 11 Big Questions, like Who is Unheard? What is Learning? What is Success? and much more. We can also design specific sessions suited to your faculty needs.
Leadership Team or Individual Coaching and Support
We work with educators around the world as critical friends and coaches, in teams, as individuals, or in cohorts from multiple organizations. We challenge you to achieve breakthrough results.
