"One of the most thoughtful and engaging professional learning experiences I have ever had."

Our BIG Question:
How will we replenish ourselves and our school communities to face the future with hope and widsom?
The last three years have been challenging and exhausting for all of us, especially educators.
Now, as the urgency of the pandemic fades, it’s imperative that we reflect deeply on how we’ve changed and how we want to move forward in a moment filled with continuing challenge and amazing opportunities at the same time.
In these Soul Work sessions, Big Questions Institute co-founders Homa Tavangar and Will Richardson will help you understand what’s changing, what it means for school and education moving forward, and they’ll help you build the dispositions you need to remain energized and curious for the work ahead.
We will nurture a trust-filled space to confront the range of actual challenges facing school leaders in real time, with the experience of the group and the facilitators to help light a generative way forward.
(Note: Participants who sign up for the series will have access to recordings and materials, so if you miss a session you can easily catch up.)

In these six, one-hour sessions covering the 3 R’s framework of Reset-Reflect-Reinvent, participants, leaders will:
Understand with more clarity how these challenging times are changing us as individuals and as institutions - and the new leadership dispositions needed to navigate these changes.
Develop a deeper sense of the powerful new and changing contexts for learning and schooling that are evolving throughout the world.
Develop new leadership lenses to apply to decisions about all aspects of the school experience for teachers and students.
Understand a “strategic design” process for thinking about a future of schools that centers more deeply on wellness, relevance, equity, and sustainability.
Reflect meaningfully, unleash their imagination, and build their capacity for more effective school and community leadership as they navigate an increasingly complex future.
Consider how, amidst high rates of burnout, they might reignite their passion for their work and remain relevant in a fast-changing world.
"Every time I listen or read anything that either Will or Homa are writing or saying, I feel a connection. They provoke my thinking while also affirming my own ideas. Time spent with both of them simply flies past. I always gain something from every single session."
